Hello

I am Salman, a third-year student in Republic Polytechnic, studying Diploma in Media Production and Design. I enjoy the quiet scenic view of Singapore's skyscrapers while listening to indie music which allows me to heal myself. Graphic Designs

I chose to do Graphic Design as it will enable me to train my eyes into seeing different kinds of aesthetics. This helps me to look out for the right colour combination, complimenting designs, details, breathable designs and more. Thanks to it, I am able to visualise more concepts and ideas.

Style Groovaz Crew

Style Groovaz Crew is a HipHop Dance Crew in Republic Polytechnic. It is one of the well-known tertiary dance clubs in Singapore. I contributed my ideas as the Marketing Head from the year 2020 to 2021. I helped to create content for our Instagram page in accordance with the brand of our crew, which is significant black and yellow. This will not only entice the new students of Republic Polytechnic to join us but also help us keep our branding consistent since our establishment.

These are some of the designs that I have created for our Instagram page, @stylegroovazcrew. Even with the varying themes of each post to match the different events that are happening in school, I still kept the brand colors, black and yellow present in every post.

State Courts

State Courts Paynow Video

Here is a video that I produced using the After Effects software. The purpose

of the video is to educate the members of the public about the new feature

that has been implemented to reduce the amount of human interaction

and to make payment more convenient. 

Greeting Cards

I also designed several Greeting Cards for my internship at State Court. Its a series of cards that include different illustrations combined. I kept it simple and bright to help emote the festiveness of the various holidays.

Photography

Photography has been one of my passion. It allows me to train my eyes to see and visualize things from another perspective. Currently, I am trying to dive into conceptual fashion photography and I want to learn more!

Loneliness

I was inspired by the current situation of the world. There are some of us who are living abroad, far away from their families and majority of us, stuck at home. The feelings and emotions of being lonely and stuck makes the mind go wild. This has caused all of us to crave freedom, want to get out of our homes. 

Botanic Gardens

Botanic Gardens was one of the most interesting places that I have been to in Singapore. The visuals were amazing and that inspired me to capture all of the moments during my visit.

Exploration

These are some of the snapshots that I took to play around with my old camera. It was fun and exciting as I was able to snap freely with a carefree mind.

Shyness

Shyness is an emotion that affects an individual on how they react or behave around people. They tend to feel uncomfortable, self-conscious, nervous, bashful, timid, or insecure. Having such personality trait often cause difficulties for an individual to be around people or a large crowd. For one to overcome it, one must go to the extreme end to step out of their comfort zone to fly high.
